Old Skool Studios is based in Canada and was founded in 2011. Although they are still unknown to most people, they have gotten off to a good start and started getting their casino games from some of the major gaming companies on the market. As they launched their games through the Quickfire platform in 2016, we expect to see their names appear in more and more online casinos in the future. Their focus is on producing modern video slots. With a slogan that reads “We don’t just make games. We create experiences”, this seems clearly promising.
Casino games that have always been their Old Skool Studios’ main focus. Initially, the company produced utility apps. It was not until October 2014 that they released their first online slot. It went by the name Epic City Slot and was created in collaboration with another game supplier, namely Odobo. The first place to launch their slot machine was Unibet, but shortly afterwards several major operators followed, such as LeoVegas, Bet365 and Mr Green. Their slot machine was a quick success and it was here that their journey really took off. After 3 years of collaboration with the gaming provider Odobo, they switched to working with Microgaming and were then able to reach a larger market through their popular platform Quickfire.
The portfolio marked with the Old Skool Studios name is still fairly small and consists of only a few slot machines. After Epic City, it was not until 2016 that their next casino game would be launched. This is because this gaming provider has worked a lot with outsourcing and has produced casino games for Lost World Games, IGS and Gamehouse Casino Plus, among others.
