The theme of this slot, however, is Chinese. While the red Phoenix is associated with the sun in Greek mythology and is therefore a symbol of the sun, it is actually Chinese. The Chinese culture holds the blue Dragon as a symbol of good fortune and control over water, typhoons and floods.

These two creatures are located in the Ways of the Phoenix game window, creating a striking contrast between the fire of the Phoenix’s water and the dragon’s water. This well-designed game features a traditional Chinese soundtrack and traditional pay symbols.

Ways of the Phoenix has ten regular pay symbols as well as a wild and scatter symbol. Five gemstones are available at the low-paying side – five in different colors and geometrical shapes – green mint turquoise blue, purple and turquoise. These are followed by a set gold coins, a scroll and a Chines drum.

Only the two last symbols are allowed to appear in superstacks. All other pay symbols cannot land in stacks higher than two symbols. The wild symbol is a dragon claw with a golden ball, and scatters are a Yin/Yang tile.
